North Tyne Schools Alliance

 Kielder Primary School is a member of the North Tyne Schools Alliance, along with:
  • Greenhaugh Primary School
  • Otterburn Primary School
  • Bellingham Primary School
  • Bellingham Middle School
This alliance is part of a Northumberland County Council initiative to encourage schools with similar profiles to work together more strategically to the benefit of staff and pupils.
 
As part of our work, we look at ways in which we can work together on common improvement strands and we identify opportunities for our children to work together, giving them the chance to experience being part of a larger group.
 
For example, each Friday, we go to Greenhaugh for music, Oracy and literacy lessons.
