Headteacher

Mr Ferris is our Headteacher. He gained his PGCE from Durham University in 2004. As well as managing the school, he co-teaches Ospreys Class (Key Stage 2). Mr Ferris is also our Designated Safeguarding Lead, SENDCo, Educational Visits Coordinator, Senior Mental Health Lead, Medications Coordinator, Sustainability Lead and minibus driver!

Miss Alexandra Dryden

Miss Alexandra Dryden

Otters Class Teacher

Miss Dryden gained her PGCE from Northumbria University in 2022. She teaches our pupils in Otters Class and has a keen interest in Japanese language and culture, having lived in Japan for three years! Miss Dryden is also one of our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads.

Ospreys Class Teacher

Miss Peaden teaches the children in Ospreys Class (Key Stage 2). Miss Peaden gained her PGCE from Sunderland University in 2025 and is a trained Forest School teacher.

Mrs Leanne Jones

Administrator and Teaching Assistant

Mrs Jones works in the school office as the administrator and also works with children in both classes to support teaching and learning. Mrs Jones delivers our phonics interventions to help our children to make excellent progress in reading.

Early Years Teaching Assistant

Ms Bond works as our Early Years Teaching Assistant, helping children in Nursery and Reception with their learning. She also works with older children and supervises pupils at break and lunchtimes.
