Headteacher

Mr Ferris is our Headteacher. He gained his PGCE from Durham University in 2004. As well as managing the school, he co-teaches Little Squirrels and Otter Class (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2). Mr Ferris is also our Designated Safeguarding Lead, SENDCo, Educational Visits Coordinator, Mental Health First Aider and minibus driver!

Miss Alexandra Dryden

Miss Alexandra Dryden

Osprey Class Teacher

Miss Dryden gained her PGCE from Northumbria University in 2022. She teaches our pupils in Osprey Class and has a keen interest in Japanese language and culture, having lived in Japan for three years! Miss Dryden is also one of our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads.

Miss Charlotte Hickie

Little Squirrels and Otter Class Teacher

Miss Hickie teaches the children in Little Squirrels Nursery and Otter Class (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2). Miss Hickie graduated with a BA in Early Primary Education from Northumbria University in 2018 and is one of our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads.

Mrs Leanne Jones

Administrator and Teaching Assistant

Mrs Jones works in the school office as the administrator and also works with children in both classes to support teaching and learning. Mrs Jones delivers our phonics interventions to help our children to make excellent progress in reading.

Ms Michelle Bond

Early Years Teaching Assistant

Ms Bond works as our Early Years Teaching Assistant, helping children in Nursery and Reception with their learning. She also works with older children and supervises pupils at break and lunchtimes.
