Rewards and Recognition

Here at Kielder Primary School, we believe that pupils deserve to be recognised and rewarded for their achievements. We are incredibly proud of how our pupils progress, both personally and academically.

 

We use ClassDojo to award points to pupils who have demonstrated positive attributes in line with The Kielder Way, including reading at home, persistence and good manners. It is also used to log any concerns, although these are rare.

 

Every two weeks, we hold Fab Friday and award a special certificate to a pupil who has demonstrated exceptionally impressive qualities; this could be excellent effort in a particular area or simply going out of their way to be kind or helpful.

 

Our peripatetic music and football instructors also give out certificates for excellent effort and these are given out in assembly.
