At Kielder Primary School and Nursery, we are committed to ensuring that no child is disadvantaged by circumstance. Our use of Pupil Premium funding is guided by the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF), with a strong focus on high-quality teaching as the most effective way to support disadvantaged pupils. We take a graduated approach to support, beginning with inclusive, high-quality classroom practice for all, followed by targeted and, where necessary, more intensive support to remove identified barriers to learning, wellbeing and participation. As a very small school, we know our pupils and families extremely well, enabling us to provide highly personalised support, strong relationships and flexible provision so that every child feels included, supported and able to succeed.
